❯ The aspect that I consider important is the consolidation of my training as a researcher in Ethics, updated in one of the great debates and centres of Studies in International Practical Ethics: Oxford Uehiro Center for Practical Ethics - the University of Oxford, where I had the opportunity to carry out my doctorate discussing important aspects that run through all my research. I emphasize not only the excellence of such a group but the possibility of contacting a multidisciplinary centre, composed of researchers from different areas of health, philosophy, physics, mathematics, biology, among others. The objective of the Center for Studies in Practical Ethics is to encourage and support the complex contemporary debate in ethics, seeking to identify and resolve disagreements in order to reach a consensus. Uehiro understands that any transformation of society depends not only on reflection and dialogue but on the transformation of the lives of the agents themselves and of all others who are involved in this process. ❯ The centre's main research topics are Bioethics, especially stem cell and genetics research; medical ethics, neuroethics, international justice, among others. Along with UEHIRO's activities, I also had the opportunity to establish contact with the Oxford Martin School, whose main objective is to support different research formed by groups of interdisciplinary programs. Research has as a common concern the global future and the great changes of our time such as rapid globalization, population growth, emergency pandemics or climate change, rethinking the economic relations of the market and innovations in the political and social field in different areas of knowledge.
