College Station, Texas, United States
I am an Animal Science and Agricultural Leadership & Development double major with a minor in Human Resource Development, set to graduate in August. After graduation, I will be starting a new role in Marketing, Hospitality, and Sales for a new bourbon company starting here in College Station. I am a dedicated, organized, and purpose-driven individual with a deep passion for agriculture, leadership, and serving others. Raised on a ranch, I developed a strong work ethic early on, learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and community. My experience raising animals has piqued my interest in the agricultural industry. I have also spent much of my time working with children to see them grow and develop. Whether it is serving in my church, babysitting or my experience working at a day care. I am very passionate about education. I truly believe foundational learning is essential to overall success. I have been honored to serve in a few different leadership positions and have been captivated by the leadership courses I have taken. I have a strong love for serving people and fostering their growth. I find myself being so energized when I "see the lightbulb go off" for others. I have a passion for developing others to their greatest potential. At my core, I believe in leading with integrity, authenticity, and compassion. I love meeting new people, understanding their needs, and fostering growth—whether in individuals, teams, or organizations. In all that I do, I strive to glorify God, recognizing that my gifts and abilities are from Him. Colossians 3:23 guides my approach to work: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
As a Marketing and Hospitality Associate at GF Spirits—the team behind Unreined Bourbon and the official whiskey of Texas A&M Athletics—I support brand growth through strategic storytelling, event execution, and customer engagement. My role bridges creative marketing with on-the-ground hospitality, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our core values: integrity, innovation, intelligence, loyalty, and selfless service. In this role, I assist with planning and executing brand activations, tastings, and community events that bring our story to life. I support social media content creation and scheduling, helping maintain a consistent and compelling digital presence. I coordinate with retail and point of sale partners to ensure smooth product placement and a seamless guest experience. At public-facing events, I represent the brand with professionalism and warmth, managing signage, branded materials, and logistics. I also contribute to marketing campaigns and customer outreach strategies, offering insights to strengthen engagement and elevate the overall experience. Soon our visitor center and rickhouse will be done, and I will have the privilege of being the first face you see in our retail area! Stay tuned for all the exciting things coming down the pipeline.
I have been positively impacted by AgriLife Extension in my years and cannot wait to serve others in the same way. As I have continued in my college career, I have met wonderful people in Extension and wanted to be a part of this family. My duties include planning catering and preparing for our quarterly new employee orientations-- Discover Extension. I also help assist in the preparation for other programs that the employee development engages in to support the people in our agency.
As the President of the 1879 Society Ambassadors, I represent our student organization at The Association, on campus, and to former students while ensuring that our organizational culture and mission are upheld. I am the representative of the student body to The Association and The Association to the student body. I actively develop relationships with Association staff and campus partners to strengthen connections and opportunities. Additionally, I oversee major programs and events that engage future, current, and former students. A key part of my role is planning and executing the development of both the leadership team and the ambassador team, which consists of 48 members, to ensure their growth and effectiveness.
As an intern for our college ministry helped plan topics of discussion and reading plans for our bible study groups and make connections with the group leaders. As am intern, I was responsible for leading my own small group and also leading our small group leaders. This looked liked planning and facilitating events and meeting with leaders on-on-one throughout the semester.
I organized and prepared the curriculum, coordinated with volunteers, connected with families, built relationships with the kids, and taught during DC Kids on Sundays.
Over the course of eleven months, I dedicated myself to selecting, training, and leading a team of 21 counselors to ensure a meaningful and impactful freshmen orientation camp. I meticulously reviewed hundreds of applications and conducted interviews to assemble a team that embodied authenticity and excellence. Alongside my partner, I planned and presented camp activities and development sessions designed to equip my counselors for success. I maintained an organized drive with all necessary materials, ensuring seamless preparation and execution. Through weekly leadership development meetings, I refined my skills and deepened my understanding of my role. Ultimately, I built out a comprehensive schedule and executed it during the immersive three-day, two-night camp, fostering a culture that prioritized both the personal growth of my counselors and the best possible experience for the freshmen.
