Carolina Sampó is a more than 20 years-experienced professional. Professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has been a researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (Conicet) in Argentina for more than 10 years, specialized in Latin American Security, particularly in the study of transnational organized crime. Dr. Sampó has also worked as an international consultant on security and organized crime in international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank. the International Monetary Fund, el PaCCTO 2.0, the Organization of American States, UNODC, and the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), among others. Carolina is a board member and a co-founder of @Amassuru, a network that gathers women in Security and Defense in Latin America and the Caribbean.
