Well known retail store. Customer service and appearance was key. After a few weeks working as a sales assistant I was asked to become part of the Visual merchandise team as my eye for fashion was noticed. I had to quickly learn the do's and donts' in this aspect of work. Having to be up at 5am five/six days a week to be in early to arrange the store. Having to follow fashion/the stores standards Customer service was key I won numerous awards from the managers for my hard work, and positive feedback from customers. Handling money, opening store accounts for customers Working in the delivery room, making sure sections in the store were organised in a visual manner, including change for new lines every two weeks. Dressing the windows at the front of the store was a huge responsibility.
High quality restaurant in Cornwall. Duties included handling money, stock, bar work, bookings, parties/events. Looking after customers/customer service, cleaning, decorating for events, handling food/drink/table orders. Being host for weddings/parties. Handling staff when in charge on some shifts. Learn about kitchen safety and hygiene. Due to my hard work and likability a duty manager role was offered to me however, I decided to go on a different career path.
