Oberursel, Hesse, Germany
I specialize in translating and copy-editing academic texts in the fields of archaeology, anthropology and museum education. I am especially interested in making German museums and historic settings accessible to English-speaking visitors. I also enjoy leading tours of the Saalburg Roman Fort, the Heidetraenk Oppidum (an Iron Age/Celtic site in Germany's Taunus Mountains), and Oberursel's 17th century 'Altstadt'.
I specialise in archaeology and ancient history, translating texts from German to English or copy-editing English publications for museums and scholars. Visit my website at www.murrayseegerttranslations.com for more information about services and prices.
I guide private tours of the Saalburg, a reconstructed Roman fort in Germany's Taunus Mountains. As needed, I also translate the museum's information panels, exhibit texts and publications from German to English.
