Test Centre Associate, delivering driving theory tests for the DVSA. Duties include: Admin of candidate tests, booking candidates in, invigilating tests, issuing results, ensuring the health and safety of colleagues and candidates, high standards of customer service, working under pressure to ensure candidates are tested in a timely manner and in accordance with DVSA standards, General admin, ordering of supplies, maintaining confidentiality at all times, ensuring a positive experience for all candidates.
My current role consists of maintaining and updating the company website products as well as general admin duties and customer service via phone calls, email and face to face interaction. I have also taken a proactive approach to change the attitude of the workforce, in relation to health and safety, from negative to a more positive outlook and encouraging them to take responsibility for their own personal health and safety as well as that of their colleagues. Involving the management and making practicable recommendations to improve the health and safety of their workforce, as well as identifying "gaps" in their policies and procedures has been a big part of improving the health and safety culture among the workforce.
Working as a Health & Safety Assistant alongside the Occupational Health & Safety Advisor; as well as providing administration support cover to the Environmental Health team on a fixed term contract. My role as a Health & Safety Assistant involves the following: Carrying out Workplace Health & Safety Inspections Writing reports of my findings Logging and investigating Accidents, Incidents, etc. Producing statistic reports and analysing the information to assess training needs and legislation requirements Risk Assessment Reviewing Company Health & Safety Policies & Procedures Updating and reviewing training records Sourcing, booking & facilitating training courses Administration role includes the following: Typing up reports from Officer inspections Answering public queries via telephone and e-mail Logging complaints and assigning to an Officer for action Updating computer records
