The mission of the Northwest Tennessee Entrepreneur Center is to provide entrepreneurs in the surrounding agricultural and rural communities with what they need to be successful—access to seed capital, credible, engaged mentors, crucial and beneficial information, and an expanded knowledge network. The goal is to help with the successful implementation of new businesses that ultimately lead to job creation. The mission of the NTEC accelerator programs is to recruit, foster, and utilize entrepreneurial talent from the nine county Northwest Tennessee area to produce scalable businesses and agricultural innovations. NTEC works with individuals who have a good idea for a new business and are ready, willing, and able to advance from simply having an idea to actually becoming an entrepreneur. NTEC helps new and existing companies develop, refine, or expand their business by providing the resources needed to create an investable story.
