Manage Center’s network of assigned Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) subgrantees and/or other applicable programs. Ensure achievement of all performance goals within budget; provide oversight of all subgrants; monitor and train SCSEP subgrantee staff. Analyze performance of individual subgrantees and collective subgrantee performance within a state, prepare plans, and provide appropriate technical assistance, guidance and support to subgrantees as appropriate. Monitor and ensure that all subgrantees comply with all federal laws and regulations, the Center Sponsor Agreement(s) , DOL and the Center’s policies and procedures. Assist in the development and interpretation of sound program policy. Provide impactful technical assistance for performance measures and subgrantee operations while working collaboratively with other Center staff to ensure subgrantees, on behalf of the Center, implement high quality performing programs. Maintain effective working relationships with state offices, where appropriate, and effectively address state responsibilities in order to ensure state SCSEP offices have a positive view of SCSEP national grantees including the Center. Assist with the planning, development and facilitation of the Center’s conferences and other training and/or orientation of subgrantee program staff. Identify and help recruit prospective subgrantees to sponsor Center programs. Assist with annual data validation, annual compliance reviews, and other reports. Assist with the marketing and communication of the Center, SCSEP and other programs. Provide on-site, web-based and virtual technical assistance to ensure programmatic implementation consistent with the Center and federal regulations. Establish and maintain new programs and initiatives with subgrantees; assist in the development of new programs with separate funding sources.
Assist with the coordination of CareerSource Florida's two statewide training grant programs and the training grants team. Develop and coordinate the application and financial viability review, grant award and contract management processes and procedures in the most expeditious manner possible. Utilize technology to facilitate the data collection, conduct training seminars/workshops, and analysis and management of the programs Develop and strengthen all economic development partnerships to better link collaborative partners with Florida’s workforce system. Conducts research and provides information, analysis, and performance reports in support of program or policy recommendations to CSF leadership, the CSF Board, and Legislative committees. Represents the organization’s programs and services to customers and in managing them through the decision-making process. Provides direction and input into the strategic planning and policy development process based on feedback from customers. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers, government officials, CSF network partners, workforce-related organizations, economic development organizations and businesses across the state. Advocates and communicates internally and externally on behalf of the programs; provides expertise and program-specific information in supporting media and public relations efforts to help establish a total talent solution for businesses.
