Washington, District of Columbia, United States
I’m deeply honored to have been appointed to the District of Columbia Commission on Human Rights—a space where dignity, justice, and equity are not just ideals, but urgent responsibilities. With this appointment, I hope to bring not only my experience as an educator, linguist, and advocate, but also the unshakable belief that every voice deserves to be heard, and every life, protected from discrimination. I carry with me the stories of my students, the lessons of my journey, and the conviction that change begins when we listen with purpose and act with courage. Let the work begin.
