I provide technical assistance and training to k-12 school districts across 8 counties in South Texas. I also lead the specialists assigned to the National School Lunch program and the Child and Adult Day Care Food program. Topics that I train on are Financial Management, Procurement, Ethics and all operational systems under the administrative review area. (Menu, recipe, food production record, meal counting and claiming. All districts assigned to the Region One area are participating in community eligibility provision. Something i am proud to have assisted with the implementation.
Administered the national school lunch program, provided services to 24,000 students daily, managed a 12 million dollar federal budget and well over 200 staff members.
Assist with menu planning, inventory management and day to day operations of the food service program. Manage 120-140 staff members, financial management along with procurement of food and equipment. Work place safety committee chair and reduced the number of worker compensation claims
