I am a civil engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. To complement my degree, I obtained a Specialization Diploma in Design and Construction of Roads and Runways from the School of Military Engineers in Bogota. Most recently, I obtained my Master's of Engineering Degree from the University of Toronto. I also have PMP (Project Management Professional) designation from the Project Management Institute. My professional experience consists of managing, supervising, and auditing construction projects for government entities and large multi-national companies. My duties included providing quality control of workmanship and materials, documentation control, developing and implementing schedules and budgets, implementing quality assurance and control procedures, procuring materials and services, and managing project teams. I also worked as a concrete plant manager responsible for planning, managing, and implementing budget, production and delivery of concrete, and plant safety processes and procedures. Currently, I am working in a consulting engineering company as a project engineer, in which I'm mainly responsible for the coordination of several projects' activities. deadlines and engineering requirements in Canada and the United States.
• Planned and coordinated early works projects such as Fiber Optic Relocation, Gas Main Relocation and environmental evaluations of the Kitchener and Halton railway corridors through all stages, including planning, design, construction, and close-out. • Led the coordination, approval and execution of the standard deviation process for the Kitchener Extension – Gas Main Relocation at Eastern Avenue with external and internal stakeholders.
