Elida Beauty is an exciting new beauty business within Unilever. We re-found iconic brands by remixing them for today’s generation, making them even bigger beauty hits than they were the first time around. ● Founding member of Elida Beauty in Canada, cultivated relationships and strong partnerships with our national retail partners. ● + 26% YOY volume across a portfolio of 5 Health & Beauty categories, across 3 National retail partners ● Pioneered the National Launch of Bed Head in retail channels, growing the Prestige Hair Care Category.
● Lead the development of Brand Trade Strategy of 7 hair care brands across different customers and channels, ensuring profitable growth. ● Drive business opportunities and identify possible risks across current customers and white spaces. ● Understand customers & competitive landscape to ensure in-market competitiveness.
● Create concise, compelling and relevant messages by translating insight into selling stories to influence action. ● Lead the development & execution of over 30 innovative, retailer-centric shopper programs per year, working closely with the retailer, agency partners and internal teams. ● Deliver innovative omni-channel shopper marketing programs based on key shopper insights that help create unique shopper journeys to drive growth for all brands.
● Develop innovative programs for retailers in conjunction with the marketing and business teams resulting in +40% weekly sales. ● Optimize discontinuation and returns budget for the division ensuring best sell-out possible & smooth turn-over of SKUs. ● Clear understanding & communication of key retailers to ensure marketing program compliance of all in-store activations. ● Organize & run PR events geared towards Beauty Advisors to promote launches and win share-of-heart.
● Strategically develop & execute national commercial activities for accounts respecting our brand identity, account regulations & budgets. ● Lead the planning of our booths & presentations at trade shows attended by over 1,500 cosmeticians (eg: Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu) ● Manage the forecasts, allocations and bookings for 20+ launches & promotions annually.
● Main point of contact for all internal & external players of all 5 brands of the Active Cosmetics Division. ● Maintained promotional calendar for the division, ensuring that key selling tools were created & distributed on time to all 50+ reps and agencies. ● Coordinated the account opening project cycle (20+ account openings per year). ● Responsible for sales portal and territory maintenance of over 2,000 accounts.
