In January 2013 I began teaching a finance course at IE University in the BBA for students in the 3rd and 4th year in Corporate Finance. It´s a practical course with a focus on real transactions analysed from a practitioner´s perspective - helping the students see how the financial concepts and products they have been studying in their initial programmes work in practice. Since then I taught many different subjects like Capital Markets, Financial Management, etc, It's been 11 years of a very exciting adventure helping the young generations to develop their skills in Finance.
I have been teaching Finance at IE Business School in Madrid for 24 years, since 2000. I taught in those years many subjects like Corporate Finance, Valuation, Alternative Finance, Financial Modeling, and Financial Management in programs including the EMBA, MIM, the MIF and MIAF, and Executive Education. In 2012 I received the IE´s Best Teacher in Financial Programs Award. In 2010 I received the IE´s Best Teacher in In-company Programs Award. Since 2008 I have received 15+ IE´s Academic Excellence Awards.
