· Senior executive with career developed in leading local and global financial institutions. · Acting in leadership positions in the Sourcing and Procurement areas in regional scope, encompassing Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and Panama. · Expertise in developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures, as well as categories and vendor risk management across multiple locations, ensuring full standardization and in accordance with guidelines established by global headquarters. · Management of over BRL 3.0 Bn in Opex and Capex in total spent distributed in multiple categories (near 1.400 vendors/suppliers). · Skilled in the Identification and development of new suppliers in Brazil and abroad, bringing cost efficiency and competitiveness. · Leadership of multiple big projects that could generate relevant savings in interface with key areas of the business. · Interaction with local/regional/global senior management; presentation of results, approval of business ideas and strategic alignment.
· In-charge to define and implement procurement strategy and governance model within Latin America region (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and Panama) · Focus on achieving cost efficiency, scale and ensuring proper management of vendor and category risk management. · Preparation of policies and guidelines concerning RFQ, RFP and Know You Vendor, ensuring full standardization and deployment in across all subsidiaries of the region. · Screening, selection and homologation of new suppliers; active participation in the negotiation of relevant agreements · Management and control of Capex and Opex of the region (aggregate, per country and category). · Elaboration of feasibility studies aiming at achieving scale, cost efficiency and savings through the rationalization of vendors/suppliers and renegotiation of contracts. · Interface with peers in other regions to share best practices, success case, and opportunities for global alignment of vendors/contractors. · Participation in the Committees: Compliance, Risks, People Management and Costs. · Interaction with regional/global senior management for results presentation and metrics, position/approval of business ideas and recommendations, and strategic direction. · As Head of Property Management Brazil; management of facilities, premises, mission critical, environment, security/access control, travel management and corporate cards. · Reporting to the Head of Procurement Americas (based in the USA) and partnering with the Global Heads of Categories (UK and Switzerland).
· Leadership of high complexity strategic projects that could result in relevant savings for the Institution. · Acting in corporate scope, providing senior support to all Heads of Categories; from planning, engagement of business partners, up to full execution and delivery. · Identification and development of new suppliers, vendors and suppliers in Brazil and abroad; directly responsible for the conduction of strategic negotiations of large size contracts. · Management of significant Capex and Opex across multiple projects. · Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO); leading a team of senior professionals.
· Leadership of procurement activities for the categories of: Contact Center, Collection, Legal Services, Records Management, Market Data, and Travel (hotels, airlines and operators). · Managing a baseline of over BRL 3.0 Bn and near 1.400 vendors/suppliers/contractors. · Interaction with senior management from Business and Support areas; consolidation and alignment of expected budget and scope. · Monitoring of actual x budgeted; analysis of deviations and alternatives towards achieving established business targets. · Member of the Purchasing Management Committee; participation in the definition of general guidelines, policies, procedures, processes, risk management models, and business targets of the area · Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)
