As the General Manager of Amazon’s of the largest Robotics Fulfillment Center in Spain, I lead a dynamic operation in one of the most technologically advanced and complex environments within Amazon’s logistics network. Reporting directly to the Country Regional Director, I am responsible for a site spanning over a million square feet, with a team of 1,500+ associates and leaders, and full ownership of a $100M+ annual budget. Responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for a fulfillment site. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the organization. · Driving creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan. · Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations. · Setting and clarifying requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Furthermore, I am responsible to establish, maintain and optimize an efficient logistic set-up, e.g by using route optimization as well as to agree and set service and capacity matrix with service providers in correlations with given forecast. I am responsible for monitoring and improving the operational performance of service providers. Managing a team of 10 managers with a daily workforce of approx.200 technicians. Responsibilities include : • Planning & executing operations at the warehouse (Project Management). Definition and compliance of yearly and monthly budget, for 5 different departments. • Definition, measurement and follow-up of the main KPI’s (productivity, lead times, quality and savety) • Planning long term actions to meet strategic goals. • Managing human resources programs. • Supervising, hiring and coaching all team members • Leading continious improvement initiatives and lean tools.
