Petroleum Engineer with a MSc. in Reservoir Geosciences and Engineering with 14+ years of experience in Reservoir Engineering, Reservoir Characterization and Reserves Management. I have worked in the development and model of reservoirs with diverse depositional environments, in primary and mature states. Background in the booking of Reserves and Resources, as well as evaluation of exploration and development assets. Experience in the structuring and monitoring of Field Development Plans (FDP), production technology, recovery strategies and Opex and Capex optimization.

• In charge of the implementation of a machine learning methodology for rock-typing using relative permeability curves in a carbonate reservoir. • QC/QA of the petrophysical data: Electrofacies analysis, Petrofacies analysis. Implementation of the workflow to use in a 3D Modeling.
- Leader of the reservoir engineering Bogota monitoring team (in charge or 3 engineers) for Colombian group. - Evaluation of new opportunities for the development and investment (capex) of new strategies to optimize the production and increase the reserves. (new wells and WO) - Monitoring of the current in-development fields and assets. - Forecasting new and mature projects. (analytical and numerical methods) - Evaluation of corporate reserves (ANH report). - Partners working to evaluate development alternatives. - Numerical & Analytical Simulation - Development of the Waterflooding projects in VMM and other alternatives of development (Evaluation, Data acquisition, testing. Review of options of secondary recovery in the projects) - Evaluation of EOR opportunities for projects with limited reserves volumes or marginal to find alternatives to make profitable. Waterflooding in high complex fields with meandric channels in low permeability fields.
- Assets development and Reservoir management, characterization, 3D modelling, numerical and reservoir simulation. - Accountability and evaluation of the corporate Reserves & Resources (Data gathering, Volumetric evaluation, Development Plans evaluation - Production forecasting, Static & Dynamic model , Economical evaluation, validation of results of third party companies) and preparation the Reserves Audit Report for the ANH. - In charge of the management of Reserves Audits in front of the ANH (Govermental regulations and PRMS regulations). - Reservoir Simulation of the fields: generating and updating the dynamic models according to the production behavior of the wells fields and new Exploration or Development activity in order to propose and optimize the execution of Capex and optimization of current assets. (Petrel, Eclipse, Imex, Stars) - New prospects evaluation. - PBU interpretation & Nodal Analysis (WellFlo & Pipesim - Saphire & PanSystem) - Follow up to the economical evaluation (Capex and Opex evaluation), production monitoring (Nodal Analysis) and partners approval. - Unconventional projects evaluation - Generate the Production forecasts of the basic production (current wells - Declinations) and the incremental production (New wells or Opps). - OFM Database Manager. Achievement: Increase in 160% the reserves of the company during 2015, and more than 200% during the last 5 years.
