As a procurement specialist in the distribution industry for plumbing, heating, refrigeration, and electrical products, I was responsible for identifying acquisition needs and maintaining precise inventory control. I established and maintained strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and promoting effective collaboration to ensure a consistent and timely supply. Additionally, I managed and processed purchase orders meticulously and quickly, ensuring accuracy in every transaction. My experience includes analyzing large volumes of data using tools such as Excel, which allowed me to identify trends and improvement opportunities in the procurement process. Furthermore, I have worked with ERP systems to optimize and execute all mentioned tasks, ensuring optimal efficiency and accuracy in procurement management.
Focused on the purchasing department, where I determine which products are available and which are required. Learn how to use an ERP system in order to fulfill orders. Developing my report-writing and Excel talents.
