In my first role at YPT, I was responsible for creating PFD and P&ID diagrams, including piping and electrical sensor selections. As a project engineer, I contributed to several large-scale mineral processing projects. Additionally, I conducted R&D work on mineral processing equipment, focusing on innovations such as effective flotation cell liners. After a year, I left the position to pursue a master’s degree. Unfortunately, the pandemic disrupted some of my thesis progress due to lockdowns. Once restrictions eased, I joined Dr. Damla İzerdem's TÜBİTAK project as a Student Researcher. After four months, the project concluded, and I began working at MRD Minerals in Hacettepe Teknokent. I collaborated with Prof. Dr. Zafir Ekmekçi and Dr. Özlem Bıçak as a researcher mining engineer. My work there focused on mineral processing R&D, particularly in flotation. During this time, I gained extensive experience conducting laboratory tests specific to mineral processing, including the Locked Cycle Test, flotation experiments, and other evaluations. In addition, I am conducting research with Prof. Dr. İlkay Bengü Can in Hacettepe University in the field of process mineralogy. My thesis, titled "Investigation of the Relationship Between Mineralogical Characterization Parameters and the Flotation Behavior of Sulphide Minerals," is currently in the writing phase. I recently started working as a research assistant in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Marmara University, focusing on Extractive Metallurgy.
