I work on building sustainable and scalable coffee trade flows across origin and destination markets, focusing on Türkiye and surrounding regions. My role centers on green coffee and soluble coffee. My day to day is building long-term relationships, strategizing disciplined risk management and structuring and executing trade flows with consistency and continuity. I became a full time member of the coffee team and started dealing only with coffee products as a destination trader responsible from Türkiye and other countries from the Middle East.
In my role as a destination trader, I traded mainly spices, palm, superfoods and other food & beverage ingredients from 10+ origins for MENA.
In Bata Food, I traded organic and conventional nuts, dried fruits, seeds, cacao, tahini and many other products of the ambient food industry and realized business in more than 20 countries.
I specialized in customs law, trade compliance, and strategy projects. I managed various duties such as resolving disputes, audits, and route map design to ensure legal compliance and efficiency in processes.
As an Associate Consultant at KPMG Türkiye, I was responsible for conducting customs & trade compliance audits for multinational clients. I developed expertise in staying up to date in a constantly changing regulatory landscape.
In my role as a Sales and Marketing Engineer at Farplas, I was responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of segments from ongoing projects with Toyota and Honda. This involved working closely with mold suppliers, design teams, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
