About

I have many years of work experience that involves intensive time management and organisational skills. When any co-ordinated event ‘goes live’ planning and communication is essential. Without thorough preparation and set-up, a simple task such as meeting a Client and issuing them with a welcome pack and name tag can be arduous. I am a tenacious worker that is driven by deadlines. Turn around times from receiving a Client enquiry to providing them with feedback and correct information needs to be done as soon as possible. I have this same stance when dealing with my Suppliers. One cannot delay in business – it’s important to get what you need as soon as possible in order to correctly get back to the Client in respectable time, to provide them with what they wish. I am a strong independent worker. One of my traits is that I take pride in my work, and as a result, strive to ensure that my best is delivered at all times. In saying that, no-one knows everything, and as such I am not afraid to query if unsure about something. Nor am I one to shirk from responsibility or to admitting if I have made an error. Accountability is key. It takes many colors to make a rainbow! I enjoy diversity and dealing with various trades, teams, and individuals. In my employment history I have taken corporate groups overseas and also managed in-bound groups from all over the globe. Having grown up as a ‘international citizen’ I am comfortable with all sorts of people, each with their own sets of needs and requirements. It is a pleasure to be presented with a challenge and/or a new circumstance where skills need to be implemented but in a new, unfamiliar manner. One must be able to ‘think on their feet’ and adapt to change and unexpected circumstance, and to do so with grace, in order to be a professional.
