Position: Therapist – Detox & Residential Program Company: Dana Shores Recovery Dates: June 2026 – Present Location: San Juan Capistrano, California, United States (On-site) As a Therapist at Dana Shores Recovery, I provide individual and group therapy services within detox and residential treatment settings, supporting clients through withdrawal management, early recovery, relapse prevention, and long-term rehabilitation. I conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress to promote emotional stability and sustainable recovery. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical providers, case managers, and peer support specialists to coordinate holistic, client-centered care. My role includes crisis intervention, psychoeducation, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. I maintain compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a trauma-informed, compassionate, and recovery-oriented environment that supports clients in achieving their treatment goals.
As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support veterans and individuals living with stable schizophrenia spectrum disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.
