I began publishing with co-author Deanna Henderson in 2014. We have over 40 books and continue to work on more releases of paperbacks, ebooks, and audiobooks. I am responsible for bookkeeping, taxes, advertising, all phases of book production, and maintain our presence on social media.
During my time at Alpine School District, I worked as a classroom teacher, Title 1 teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, District Curriculum Director for Literacy. I also had a large role in teacher education and training.
I designed inservice and training programs for elementary teachers and administrators. I delivered single-session or multi-day classes to train teachers in various Language Arts subjects, methods, and practices. This work was performed in conferences for educators, in schools across the Western United States, and as well as in my own district.
Ran all facets of the business: coin operated laundry, exercise salon, tanning beds, dry cleaner, snack bar. Responsible for ordering payroll, taxes, income, and expenses.
