About

I was born in Turkey and grew up in Adana. I attended all schools, including university, in Adana. During my high school and university years, I received a scholarship from TEV Turkish Education Foundation, established by Koç Holding. After studying mechanical engineering, I studied in Istanbul for another year to work in the maritime industry; Thus, I was able to find a job more easily and work with a good income under the business conditions of my country. I have always loved volleyball and swimming, and now I like walking more. I love reading and traveling. With the benefit of my maritime profession, I had the opportunity to travel to more than 20 countries. Apart from my profession, I have been interested in computer programming and restructuring organizations since I was a student, and I am currently working to further improve my Excel knowledge. The first sale of second-hand vehicles with warranty in the Ford dealer system, the first implementation of the Ford service 2000 upgrading system in a service in Turkey, and the merging of 8 Ford dealer companies belonging to Koç Holding and reorganization with the help of ISO 9001 application and acceptance with zero errors. I served as team leaders. In my job as a mobile marine inspector until before Covid, I started a personal project to use risk analysis methods and minimize possible errors by taking Paris Mou Survey standards as reference during ship inspection. For this reason, I wrote a master's thesis on occupational safety and health and I am sharing it free of charge with companies that want to use it. Currently, I am trying to finish my master's thesis on "Development of alternative measures to reduce the impact of CO2 emissions on container ships". I especially care about the personal and professional development of young people and try to lead those who ask for support. In addition, I try to support TEV scholarship holders and students who need support for education. I love my profession, with this; I want to work in jobs that need a new organization that is open to development, using my experience, and live in Canada. I enjoy and am motivated to work with people who are empathetic, disciplined, respectful, believe in team spirit, and are open to improvement.
