1.Carry out procurement activities, with the objective to optimize supply and generate a contribution to operating profit while taking into account optimization of the total cost of ownership. 2.Provides direction for customization of procurement documentation and creates database of standard. 3.Procurement plan development, sourcing activities, methods of bid/quotation, and negotiations. 4.Maintain responsibility for new site acquisition procurement activities. 5.Sourcing the vendors, require RFI, issuing RFQ and issue the PO. 6.Analyses, negotiates and prepare contractual agreement, ensuring appropriate terms and condition are included to protect the interest of the company. 7.Work closely with technical team for technical buyoff before proceed the PO. 8.Cooperate with vendors on PO confirmation, and liaise constantly with the supplier for the order status and follow up with the delivery. 9.Prepare the forecast of payment and submit the forecast to SCM for compilation and submit to HQ. 10.Ensure availability of goods and services to meet committed schedule. 11.Generates report and coordinates consistent procurement metrics. 12.Find alternative procurement sources to minimize stock times, inventory levels and costs. 13.Coordinates closure of invoice discrepancies and negotiate adjustment with supplier to resolve in timely manner. 14.Forecast level of demand for service and products. 15.Work closely with internal department to identify all specification requirement and resolve material non-conformance issue independently. 16.Evaluate and improve the performance of vendors by accessing their quality, cost, delivery and manage performance improvement activities. 17.To support operation needs for new setup plant in Malaysia.
