As a Sales Trainee, I assist the sales team in managing and developing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) activities for both Wholesale and Corporate segments. My responsibilities include providing commercial support by preparing proposals, following up on client requests, and handling contracts and confirmations. Maintaining strong client relationships is a key part of my role, which involves proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position allows me to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, event organization, and client relations within a luxury hospitality environment.
Over the course of 9 weeks, I collaborated with a team of five students on a strategic consulting project for Borsalino, the iconic luxury hat brand. Our mission was to analyze and optimize the customer journey, with a focus on omnichannel experience, loyalty programs, marketing, merchandising, CRM, and Order Management Systems (OMS). We conducted in-depth research and data analysis, and delivered a set of actionable recommendations aimed at strengthening customer engagement and improving operational efficiency. This was an incredible experience, both professionally and personally. We truly enjoyed working with the Borsalino team, and the project offered us valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of managing a luxury brand in a fast-evolving retail environment.
As an Event Coordinator Intern at the Royal Savoy, I played a key role in coordinating high-end events, including conferences, weddings, and corporate gatherings. I was responsible for managing communication between the sales, finance, and marketing departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and the smooth execution of event logistics. I also supported the team in client communication, overseeing event details and ensuring that all expectations were met. This experience enhanced my organizational skills, while also giving me the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of how cross-departmental coordination contributes to the success of luxury events.
As a Brand Ambassador for Veepee, I was responsible for promoting the brand and building strong customer relationships through strategic marketing and communication efforts. My role involved data analysis to track consumer behavior, optimize campaigns, and enhance user engagement. I also conducted market research to identify new trends and opportunities, contributing to the development of innovative promotional strategies. This experience strengthened my ability to combine creativity and analytics to drive brand growth in an e-commerce setting.
