A Product Design Engineer and creative thinker with six years' experience in strategic product development, commercial branding and consultancy experience with an undergraduate degree in Product Design from the University of Brighton. Currently based in Munich, Germany, Cameron has experience based knowledge of the construction and building materials industry, BIM strategy and implementation, and higher education design programmes.
Working within the organisations design team to develop advanced clay and concrete roofing systems. Key responsibilities include producing digital product portfolios for international company brands and driving strategy and innovation within the organisations digital services and product systems development teams.
Working predominantly as a draughtsman for a small bespoke joinery firm as well as providing Industrial Design & Illustration services to a number of clients.
Working alongside the current second & final year students to develop their professional portfolios that demonstrate best practice ideation methods. The lectures aim to help improve their confidence as a designer, demonstrate a range of advanced sketch tools, and to build a newly developed, professional, and highly personalised portfolio of work.
My placement was spent working amongst of a team of experienced designers to help deliver innovative solutions and high end presentation material for Innovate's clientele. This term also allowed me to work on and lead a number of prototype production and development projects.
My first design position entailed the interpretation of client briefs to produce both 2D and 3D visualisations of playgrounds for schools and councils across the UK. This experience led me to enrolling on a product design course to further my knowledge of the design industry.
