Responsible for a 4 person QA team building 71 x 7.0MW Siemens Gamesa DD wind turbines in pre-assembly site in Cherbourg France. Responsibilities included initial site setup and layout of GWS office spaces, overall offshore readiness management, checklist management, out of scope tasks management, NCR management, snag team management and overall execution of GWS quality plan. Daily site meetings and planning Aswell as weekly QMIP management meetings with SGRE. incoming inspection, sub contractor pre- walkdown,Tri lateral final client walkdown inspection and handover documentation preparation. Close contact with SGRE installation leads and engineering department problem solving unforseen issues and mitigating costs through effective physical analysis on site.

GWS Project quality manager for Siemens Gamesa pre-assembly site for the world's largest freshwater offshore wind farm currently under development. 89 x 4.3MW-MK1 DD-130 SGRE turbines. The GWS scope on this project entails the complete management of the whole site, this is the first project of it's kind awarded to a sub-contractor. QA responsibilities include incoming component inspections with Siemens QA, quality and documentation control on works performed, pre- snagging components prior to call for inspection, final inspection, planning and delegation for the close out of all open non-conformitties prior to shipping components to offshore for assembly.
I was on the Fred Olsen Windcarrier team performing a QA position in which we recieved and controlled all documents relating to component handover including all safety certifications. Performing component walkdown with client and signing the handover to take custody of components for loadout on to our jack up vessel.
