So far as a part of my working life I have worked as a part of a small team in Whittards of Chelsea in their Bracknell branch. Here I worked for 3 years developing a cult following amongst customers and a reputation for being one of the happiest workers in the Lexicon. Since 2022 I have started my studies in Southampton for marine biology with oceanography
I am Buying Admin Assistant where my day tk day duties involve using softwares such as Asana to support my team on project deadlines. my main responsibilities beyond this include but are not limited to assisting the marketing team with understanding new products ans preparing photoshoots, sample testing and SKU creation and organisation, and contacting suppliers to maintain product orders and ensure the smooth launch of new products within the company.
During this period in time I had contributed my effort to the management of an ecotoxicology infection trial. I had Learnt techniques on how to use and operate Fisher RT-qPCR with its respective protocols, performed Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy alongside the maintenance of bulk agal cultures. Working within the laboratory honed in my aseptic techniques, especially when handling samples of RNA and cDNA and when preparing parthenogenic cultures for use in the study.
