I am a William Smith graduate of class 2019 with a BS in Computer Science and Physics. I started my pursuit of studying computer science in the second half of my first year in college. All throughout my learning I learned to program in Java using Eclipse and object-oriented program working on Linux.Unix systems. I have taken courses in which I learned JavaScript, HTML, Node.js, C, C#, Assembly language, and Haskell. I have worked on many project that involved agile management, collaborative team work, and enhanced my skills for thinking outside the box and finding multiple solutions and analyzing what solution would be the best for the situation.Having developed a passion for coding, technology, and creating things both physically and on the computer, I am pursuing computer science in college with an interest in engineering. I am a hard worker and I am open and enthusiastic to learning new things and different opportunities.
I work as a consultant, software developer, contracted with JPMorgan Chase through FDM. I use IntelliJ IDEA working on maven SpringBoot projects. My work includes RESTful services, regression testing, SQL, GIT, Cloudfoundry, Jiras, Unix, and utilizing Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Outlook and Teams for forms of communication. I work with applications on GAP (Gaia Application Platform) and GKP (Gaia Kubernetes Platform) in agile development. My work environment is hybrid, working remotely and in the office.
I completed the Java training program at FDM for software development, working remotely from Madison, WI. During my training I gained experience and knowledge of SQL, Spring Boot, web applications, servlets and Thymeleaf. I also furthered my skills in Unix and Java. I did self-study of React and integration with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and RESTful API. I worked on the development of the email automation portion of a project integrating React with Spring Boot and Spring Data via creating RESTful API. Currently I am a consultant at JP Morgan Chase & Co: Jersey City, NJ I worked remotely for JP Morgan Chase & Co for a few months from Madison WI. My work is now a hybrid of going into the office and working remotely.
During my time at Epic I have worked as a part of EpicCare Ambulatory team in the .NET web stack (C#, Typescript), and a scalable, non-relational database framework. Completed my six month training requirements in four months Did integrated development across teams in EpicCare Ambulatory Did back end and mostly front end development
(September 2012 - June 9, 2019) The nursery caregiver supervises over the young children, from babies and toddlers to elementary ages, of the church during and after the service. I provide a safe and playful environment for the children, interacting and entertaining the children, while staying alert to keep the children safe and to maintain peace among everyone.
