Duty Manager; Serco Leisure, June 2014-present, In this role I was required to manage and be responsible for the day to day running of the facilities. This included handling contracts and overseeing the work done the financial operations occurring, the various teams of staff on site and safe operation of the pools and pool plant in use. Further responsibilities included control of the facility during emergencies such as evacuations, rescues or major first aids. Golf assistant; Serco Leisure, June 2012-present, This role included advising customers on best purchases and explaining available facilities. Other roles were to operate the till system and cash up at the end of the day handling money up to £1500. Responsibilities also include safe operation of available machinery including mechanical ball washer and operating ball collector. Lifeguard; Serco Leisure February 2011-present, The responsibilities of this job are to independently observe the pool and maintain a safe environment as a member of a team. To maintain a safe environment the job required responding to alarms and working as a team to appropriately manage the incident. The job required performing rescues and providing first aid when required. Safe handling of cleaning chemicals was also needed to maintain a safe environment.
