As a senior member of the commissioning management team, I am responsible for the delivery of the commissioning program on a variety of projects. This involves the management and coordination of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and BMS services from install, pre-commissioning, setting to work and final functional operation. Projects include the succesful delivery of: - Trinity House Life Sciences Building (£130M) - Beckton Sewerage Treatment Works (£185M) - The Forge Commercial Development (£140M)
Working on behalf of the Costain Skanska JV, I was responsible for the package and commissioning management for BMS, stair pressurisation, general exhaust and platform smoke exhaust systems. Roles include: - Developing final acceptance certificates were generated for client acceptance and ultimate handover of the assets to RfLi. - Developing test scripts and strategies for testing and demonstration of BMS and mechanical systems - Coordination and engagement of multiple supply chains and package management, upholding project programmes and managing defects. - Conducting scenario-based integration testing to fulfil project requirements - Presenting regular updates to the client team (Crossrail) on progress displaying clear planned versus actual metrics - Producing assurance documentation for acceptance - Successful completion of maintenance contract for RfL, including all required and statutory maintenance that prolonged asset life, improved reliability and reduced downtime.
As part of the Mechanical Engineering team in the Properties and Buildings division, I was a HVAC design engineer and project manager on a variety of projects. These included Queensland Health infrastructure, educational buildings, multi-residential towers, airports, retail tenancies, substations and private infrastructure. On site defect, progress and completion inspections were routinely performed as part of the design process to deliver ideal solutions for clients. Heat load analysis, mechanical plant sizing, developing compliant drawings and specifications, financial management, forecasting and team leadership were routine activities in my employment.
