As a Marketing Coordinator and Health Educator with a focus on opioid public health analysis, I work at the South Central Health District (Georgia Department of Public Health District 5-1) to combat the opioid epidemic and promote public health awareness. Passionate about dissolving the stigma surrounding health departments, particularly in rural communities, I strive to create open communication and empower individuals to take control of their health. I believe that teamwork and clear communication are essential to driving positive change, and I am committed to making an impact through collaboration, education, and advocacy. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Public Health from Georgia Southern University JPHCOPH, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. My studies continue to enhance my ability to support and create healthier communities. Proud to be an alumni of Georgia Southern University JPHCOPH, I continue to apply my knowledge and experience to promote healthier communities. Together, we can end the opioid epidemic and foster a healthier future for all.
