Building full-stack tools for social impact using Angular, TypeScript, and Python. Collaborated with a team on production features and API integrations, while on track to support the lab’s Gen AI research efforts.
- Achieved a top 5 ranking in California and top 15 in Northwest America at the ICPC Pacific Northwest Regionals D2 competitive programming contest (11/15/25), competing against university teams across multiple states. - Developed and implemented advanced algorithms to solve sets of approximately 12 problems during official and practice contests hosted on Codeforces. - Weekly coding practice contests
- Selected as 1 of 20 UCSC students for a highly competitive, paid drone research program; analyzed indoor air quality (IAQ) sensor data using Python, NumPy, and Pandas, processing flight-collected CSV datasets to evaluate data quality and identify environmental trends. - Designed and implemented backend data-processing workflows for drone-collected sensor data, leveraging FAA Part 107 certification to support field operations and data acquisition. - Led development for an interactive Plotly dashboard and website to visualize air quality data and communicate findings; presented research outcomes to a panel of aviation and industry experts from Joby Aviation, CES Utility Solutions, Aero Systems West, and other organizations.
- Provided math instruction to students through AP (college-level) Calculus - Took on additional responsibility teaching advanced courses, including AP Calculus, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics, covering the lead instructor’s students during the final month. - Helped students improve their math skills using Mathnasium’s structured approach. - Led hour-long sessions with up to three students at a time, provided individual help while keeping everyone on track.
