Bolivia has the highest per capita deforestation rate in the world. 4EverForest is working to reshape the timber industry by incentivizing sustainable forestry and farming practices, using biochar as a catalyst for industrial transformation. My role focused on developing a business model to convert waste timber into biochar and distribute it to local farmers, while supporting lumber mills in transitioning to more sustainable operations. The work involved deep dives into carbon credit methodologies, data analysis, and running biochar field trials in Concepción Bolivia.

7 month window aiding in socioeconomic project development throughout Indochina Completed projects: - Social media and event planning in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Worked with a locally employed beach resort to increase customer retention. Enhanced social media presence, event promotion, and infrastructure redesign by building a pickle ball court on premises. - Built a website and crowd funding campaign for exploited tea farmers within the Ha Giang region, Vietnam. Corporate involvement in the area has caused age old tea farming techniques to become abandoned, and local farmers must now work in underpaid positions mass farming and deforestation ancient tea trees. The team worked with a harvesting community to create a membership platform that encourages international purchases. - English teaching in Vietnam and Laos. Working with both adults and children to teach english at varying skill levels. Students did not have access to primary english schooling, solely relying on volunteer aid to progress their knowledge. - NGO relation development in Bali Indonesia. Designed a carbon credit funding strategy for a pyrolysis company that turns plastic waste into energy for local residents. - Permaculture promotion in Canggu. Attempting to showcase the value of sustainable farming and permaculture to both locals and travellers within the region.
