Co-composer, audio engineer, systems designer and live engineer for SKATE: A 6 month residency at Barangaroo's 120 metre-long Cutaway, working on a groundbreaking skateboarding-music-digital art collaboration. With input from original Sound Artist Steph O'Hara, cutting edge technology designed on the ground allowed our cast of skateboarders to paint the stage with light and sound. A fully responsive stage loaded with sensors, infra red technology and microphones enabled the movements of skateboarders to tell the story in a unique way every performance. I introduced Dante networking to allow seamless signal responsivity between audio, lighting and AV, meaning cues could be taken from percussion on the ramps and trigger cues across departments with minimal latency. Wireless networking also meant our mobile cast of skaters and musicians were always on time and in the moment.
