▪ Manages all aspects of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) of all North American operations relating to space efforts, specifically satellite BUS Manufacture. ▪ Ensures all policies and procedures are in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and any applicable local or state regulatory agencies. ▪ Performs audits and reviews of all staff, subcontractors and partnered agencies to ensure safe operations. ▪ Works with engineering solutions teams on the delivery of custom designed for manufacture work stations ensuring safety, reliability, ergonomics for both utilization by in house staff as well as customers. ▪ Working to digitize the processes in order to become more lean when it comes to daily tasks and efforts to include inspections, incident reporting, audits and process and asset tracking. ▪ Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as planning, operations, contracts management, engineering, and facilities in regards to safe operations. ▪ Mentors several staff within the company in an effort to give back after years of others doing the same for me.
Manages all aspects of the EH&S efforts for a satellite manufacturing facility using new custom manufacturing stations designed and built in house. Manage all safety aspects of the dispenser loading of satellites including launch operations globally. Performs reviews of new processes and procedures revolving around manufacturing, design, launch and maintenance operations across all business lines. Authored enterprise level policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA, NASA, Space Florida and other related regulatory organizations. Collaborates in training and updates regarding OSHA updates and changes to Airbus North America commercial efforts.
