In the past two decades, I worked with innumerable entrepreneurs both seasoned and aspiring, women and youth, in developed countries such as UK, USA, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Oman, Qatar, UAE, and KSA, and countries from less developed regions of South Asia, Far East and Africa. As an entrepreneurship ‘activator’, I facilitated entrepreneurs to embark upon their entrepreneurial journey through my Business Leadership and Business Growth Coaching. I do it through one-on-one coaching, mentoring and capacity building through organized learning and development activities. Being an academic and an experienced dean of business school, I have successfully conceptualized, designed, and conducted executive education programs for entrepreneurs in more than fifty countries worldwide. I’ve acted as consultant to national governments including the UK, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Honduras; multi-lateral agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Union Higher Education Social Fund, ILO, and UN-APCTT; and myriad of entrepreneurs for developing and growing their enterprises. - Leading projects and research activities, planning, conducting and delivering independent research, for presentation at national or international levels. - Supporting the HoD by providing advice on strategic issues relating to the recruitment, management and development of students and staff within the department. - Leading the design/development/review/management of PG Research Courses within the department by identifying opportunities for new curricula, through regular review and investigation. - Strategic development and implementation of market-focused portfolio by introducing new courses for local and international students. - Leading teams as principal programme leader, working on collaborative tasks and projects (including teaching teams, course development teams, research teams and working groups) and coordinating their work to deliver on agreed plans and objectives. - Contribution to the academic life of the faculty and university by actively engaging in other activities and representing the department and faculty. - Maintaining knowledge and understanding at the forefront of the Entrepreneurship discipline and also at the forefront of professional practice by remaining research active.
