Reporting to the PIF, Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and working closely with the major airport stakeholder, Government Authority of Civil Aviation of KSA (GACA). Scope includes the selection of the designers and the delivery of the master plan design.

The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is a development under construction near King Fahad Road in Riyadh KSA. It consists of circa 140 towers/buildings mixed use in an area of 1.6 million sqm2. It will provide more than 3 million sqm2 of BUA of various uses, 62,000 parking spaces and accommodation for more than 15,000 residents. The KAFD master plan was designed by Danish architectural firm Henning Larsen Architects. International architecture firms such as HOK, SOM, CallisonRTKL, Gensler, and Fosters and Partners are designing individual buildings in the district, such as the 380-meter PIF Tower (HOK and Omrania).
