Worked with EPİAŞ/EXIST (Energy Exchange Istanbul) for the senior year Operetion Research Project. Reported to Kürşad Derinkuyu, the advisor of the CEO. Throughout the project followings were accomplished: - A genetic heuristic algorithm that matches supply & demand orders was developed in order to maximize the total trade volume of Turkey's Intra-day Electricity Market. - The model was tested with previous years' data, and 6% increase in the matching ratio of block orders was accomplished.
