I work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI agents, building the platforms that make production AI systems work in practice. Currently at Flyway Health, I'm the founding engineer building an AI agent platform and the AWS infrastructure powering it. Over the last 10+ years I've worked across cloud consulting, fintech, blockchain, healthcare, and SaaS. I've built backend systems, developer platforms, and AWS infrastructure with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and operational simplicity. Previously Partner at Sufle, one of Turkey's leading AWS Advanced Services Partner, and built Bitcoin backend services at Xapo Bank. Building AI agent platform and AWS infrastructure underneath. - Designing and shipping production AI agents: tool use, orchestration, prompt and context engineering, and structured outputs. - Optimizing LLMs in production: model selection, latency and cost trade-offs, caching, and routing patterns. - Developing the core platform layer: implementing telemetry, observability, tracing, and prompt/model versioning pipelines. - Building and managing data pipelines on Snowflake. - Designing secure, multi-tenant cloud architecture with a focus on tenant isolation, reliability, and operational simplicity on AWS. - Establishing engineering foundations: CI/CD automation, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and reliable deployment workflows.
Partner at one of Turkey's leading AWS Advanced Consulting Partners. Led software engineering delivery and architecture. Also worked on pre-sales and hiring as we grew the team from 0 to 30 people. - Led software engineering delivery across fintech, blockchain, healthcare, e-commerce, education, and enterprise SaaS, for clients from early-stage startups to large enterprises. - Architected cloud-native platforms with Python (Django, Flask), Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS, Next.js), React, AWS Lambda, and container-based infrastructure. - Directed AWS migration and modernization initiatives: containerization with Docker and ECS/EKS, serverless adoption, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Terragrunt - Conducted AWS Well-Architected Reviews; led cost-optimization and reliability initiatives that reduced client infrastructure spend. - Contributed to pre-sales as a solutions architect: built POCs, ran client discovery, and helped convert technical conversations into long-term engagements. - Established hiring standards, technical mentorship, and internal knowledge-sharing programs as the engineering team grew. - Delivered conference talks and webinars in the AWS and serverless ecosystem, positioning Sufle in the cloud community.
Worked on the Core Backend team at a regulated Bitcoin custody, building backend services and internal tooling around Bitcoin infrastructure. - Developed and maintained Python and Flask microservices supporting core banking and cryptocurrency-related systems. - Worked closely with Bitcoin protocol updates and Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) to ensure compatibility with network-level changes. - Contributed to engineering quality practices including code review, automated testing, and internal developer tooling. - Built operational automation and support tooling to improve developer workflows and deployment reliability.
Worked on backend systems and APIs for digital products. - Developed backend services using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS. - Developed asynchronous processing workflows using Celery and RabbitMQ with a focus on reliability and operational stability. - Automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows using Bash scripting and AWS services. Worked on HotelsPro, a large-scale B2B hotel reservation platform serving global travel partners. - Developed backend services and distributed task-processing workflows using Django, Celery, Redis, and PostgreSQL. - Built and optimized Elasticsearch-based search infrastructure for hotel discovery and retrieval workflows. - Developed REST integrations with ERP and internal business systems for operational data synchronization. - Monitored and maintained asynchronous processing systems using Flower and RabbitMQ task queues.
