About

✅ What I Do: SaveYour.Town shows you practical steps you can take today to shape a brighter future for your town. In San Juan County, Utah, attendees left feeling empowered to act on ideas they’ve had for years. Conversations sparked around local placemaking, community-led projects, and how to move forward with limited resources. In Akron, Iowa, after my visit, there were 7 eating places, new owners of several run-down businesses, housing lots were all sold, and the community was saving its swimming pool. We provide monthly videos, toolkits, weekly newsletters, onsite visits to your community, webinars, keynotes, and cohorts. ✳️ How We Do It: We share stories and advice about working and living in a small town. Our Idea Friendly Platform gets communities into action right away. We help towns find ways to create change and take action immediately. Whether it's an on-site visit, workshop, cohort, or keynote, we help small towns create the kind of community they want to live in. SaveYour.Town has been in business for 11 years. I've had 63 speaking engagements, 30 onsite visits, 36 webinars and virtual events, 22 podcast visits and other conversation too numerous to mention. I've written a book that shares other towns' small step success stories and teaches you how to take action right away: From Possibilities to Reality: Save Your Small Town with these Uniquely Do-able Ideas, Projects, and Success Stories. You can order your own copy at www.buildingpossibility.com/buythebook or find it on Amazon.
