Future-Proof came into being out of a desire to see people live healthier, happier, more meaningful lives at home and work. Business, charities, sports, and churches, all rely on teams to get things done. Productive teams require inspired and motivated individuals. I love helping teams identify their strengths and gaps so that the team and the individual can flourish. Having recently completed my Working Genius Certification, I am more equipped than ever to support teams to become more productive and individuals to thrive.

I was responsible for looking after the well-being of the 420 staff members at our restaurants across England. I pioneered and organised ways of ensuring well-being company wide, such as researching and initiating a relationship with Hospitality Action, a charity which offers numerous ways to assist companies in caring for their teams. I traveled the country meeting team members one-to-one completing contentment assessments, gaining valuable information for how the business could look after our teams better, as well as getting to know team members personally and how I could help individuals in and out of the work environment. If team members had personal well-being issues, I would return and meet one-to-one whenever necessary, as well as signpost them to other services which may be able to offer support. I also oversaw all of Mowgli's charity relationships. Each local restaurant has an affiliation with a local charity. I would meet regularly with the representative at the charity in order to ensure the relationship was working as a two-way relationship. If the relationship was not working in the way that we wanted, I would try and repair it, or bring it to an end and find a new partner. I also led the search for new charity partners where we were looking to open new restaurants. I then worked closely with Nisha, our Founder/CEO, to make a final decision on the charity. Each restaurant also had a Charity Champion who was responsible for the day to day charity relationship in the restaurant. I trained and mentored the Charity Champions individually and ran Training Away Days where we would all get together for training, feedback, and fun. In addition, we had relationships with three international charities, all based in India. We worked with these charities to arrange regular trips for up to 20 team members to go to India for first-hand experience of the culture. I led the planning of the trip and organised debriefs once the team returned.
