I’m the President and co-founder of Capital Factory and The Texas Fund, the most active venture capital fund in Texas. Previously, I was a founding team member at Fixd Repair (acquired by ANGI Homeservices) and launched the Blackstone LaunchPad and UT Dallas Seed Fund. I serve on the faculty at UT Dallas’ Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where I teach venture capital and startup strategy. I co-founded Venture Dallas, a catalyst for advancing the North Texas startup and venture ecosystem.

I am the founder and director of the UT Dallas Seed Fund. The student seed fund offers course credit to undergraduate and graduate students. As May 2022 the UTD Seed Fund has completed 16 venture investments and/or grants and placed several students for jobs in venture backed startups and at VC firms.

Blackstone LaunchPad is a campus-based entrepreneurship program, accessible by over 630K students globally, designed to support and mentor students, staff, and alumni. The program is designed to help drive economic development in communities around partner universities increasing the likelihood that students remain and develop their ideas with the region and prepare students to enter the modern workforce with a flexible, entrepreneurial mindset.
