Bruno is managing the soil & groundwater group for the Benelux region and is specialised in Contaminated Land Management. Bruno joined URS in Belgium in June 2004 and has conducted multiple soil and groundwater investigations and innovative remediation projects for several (multinational) industrial sites. Bruno has been working as hydrogeologist and environmental expert since 1998. Prior to URS he gained experience as a hydrogeologist and research assistant at KULeuven (1998-2004). As Technical Director I provide technical direction on business decisions and in the execution of specific projects.
Bruno was teaching assistant for geology and hydrogeology courses and fieldtrips at the Department of Geology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Bruno did a PhD in hydrogeology with a thesis on "Reactive transport modeling of a groundwater contamination from a former coking plant" in cooperation with the GPRG group of the University of Sheffield (UK).
