Bruno is a highly qualified & experienced environmental consultant of 20+ years’ specialising in offshore energy and marine developments. An expert in environmental legal compliance, management systems, training, and sustainability, Bruno is mainly experienced within the UK, other parts of Europe, Middle East and West Africa. He has worked in several onshore/offshore energy project environmental advisor secondment roles throughout his career including multiple major offshore wind developers' led offshore wind farm construction projects. Bruno has also had operations technical and / or environmental advisor secondments at multiple offshore oil and gas projects, carbon capture projects and the iconic Neom project in KSA. Bruno provided key support to these projects on offshore consents and environment compliance expertise.
Establish and provide Leadership in best practice in environmental and sustainability matters in conjunction with the SHES function. Ensure management controls are in place so that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required. Take a lead with site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the environmental and sustainability plans. Lead, partake and oversee environmental incident investigations in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences. Manage, collate & review environmental and sustainability statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement environmental and sustainability campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Operations Director / SHES Director. Manage and where required be involved in the preparation & review of environmental and sustainability documents including those of 3rd parties. Manage and produce environmental and sustainability plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance. Identify significant environmental and sustainability issues and help set-up projects to include appropriate controls. Manage and identify any environmental and sustainability consents / permits or exemptions that are required and ensure they are obtained. Assist with discharge of planning conditions Provide reports, presentations, and information as directed by the Business / SHES function. Undertake internal and external audits as required. Providing input and review of pre-qualification, tender and environmental and sustainability award submissions. Managing a small team of environmental specialists and liaising with third-party environment and ecology consultants Working and sharing best practices with an ever-growing E&S function
