I am the new President and Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest. Our main objectives are to internationalize the faculty and student bodies, strengthen the research activities and acquire all accreditation standards. I have been Dean of the Solvay Brussels School, ULB, from Sept. 2021 to August 2024. Jointly with a very active team and colleagues we have successfully launched two new Bachelors delivered in English, an Advanced Master in new Biotech Ventures, and an Executive Master in Future Proof Real Estate. We created a double degree with HEC Montreal and the EU Tribe (European Triple Degree Diploma in Business Economics with Luiss Guido Carli and with Goethe Universitat. We developed our flagship and transversal SDI (Sustainable Development Initiative) project, the internationalization of the School and the development of its lifelong learning services. We obtained a five year EQUIS Accreditation, and renewed AMBA Accreditation. I am Full Professor and I teach and perform research in the field of innovation and intellectual property. I have also been Dean of the Solvay Brussels School from April 2011 to Sept. 2017. The main projects that have been launched and/or developed during this mandate include igniting and launching of a worldwide networked master (the QTEM), the creation of several double degree programs, the launch of a series of Advanced Masters, the launch of the CIP (Credited Internship Program, whereby our master students spend 4 to 6 months working in a company or institution as full-time interns). The CIP started in 2012 with about 10 students and includes nowadays 200+ students per year. Specialties: Economics of innovation, management of innovation, economics of intellectual property, evaluation of science and technology policies.
As Rector and President of Corvinus University of Budapest, I collaborate with about 500 faculty members and 500 administrative staff in charge of performing research and training 10K students. Our main challenges are to internationalize the faculty and the students bodies, to strengthen research activities, and to acquire all major international accreditations.

In September 2012 we created a Networked Master called QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management), jointly with four partners (Universiteit van Amsterdam, Goethe, HEC Lausanne, and BI Norwegian Business School). As of June 2018 the network hosts 24 academic partners from Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America, and 17 corporate partners. In short, the network aims at sending top level students from each institution for two exchanges within the network, or one exchange and one long-term full-time internship abroad.
