- define and implement projects to meet Group internal targets and californian regulatory mandates for decarbonization - all of the above approach to design and execute a comprehensive "Lebec Net Zero" plan, by 2030, based on available technologies (energy efficiency, lower clinker content cement, fuel switching,,...) to significantly reduce CO2 emissions and intensity then next implement Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) scheme to fully abate process emissions - work with the US DOE to support the Lebec Net Zero project with a 500M$ cooperative agreement - lobbying efforts to ensure that regulatory environment and financial support are consistent with a low carbon cement industry development - assist in development of a Community benefit plan to ensure all benefit from the development of the Net Zero project - manage all aspects of manufacturing operations - workforce of 130 people (90 hourly personnel and 40 managers/supervisors) - safety excellence - preserve and expand plant production capacity and economic competitiveness - Successfull negotiations for CBA renewal - ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations - evaluate and propose to corporate structure capex projects
