Brooke Rhea is a Loan Officer based out of Walker & Dunlop’s New Orleans office. Brooke joined Walker & Dunlop in the fall of 2018 and has held a number of positions including intern and analyst. Since joining Stephen Farnsworth’s team, Brooke has contributed to the origination of over $9B in agency and capital markets financing. She has worked on construction, bridge, and permanent financing across the U.S.
Planned the development of an affordable two-family home in the Hoffman Triangle. Analyzed the market demand of the neighborhood, worked with architects to create a design, built a pro forma, and completed paperwork to file for a variance.
Leads a three person business team. Sells advertising packages both in print and online for the self-funded newspaper. Finds new and innovative streams of income. Records finances for the newspaper in QuickBooks.
Sold advertising packages both in print and online for the self-funded newspaper. Helped to bring back the Jambalaya yearbook after an eight year hiatus in order to increase income.
Started a yearly car wash fundraiser. Ensured that funds were being used efficiently by partnering with Feed the Children to purchase food trucks filled with 1,200 boxes of food and basic necessities. Donated four food trucks to a food cupboard in Ambler and one to a community center in Mid City New Orleans. Raised over $50,000 in total.
