Confer with parents and staff to discuss educational activities, policies, and student behavioral or learning problems. • Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concept. • Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents’ or guardians’ attention. • Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans. • Maintain a safe play environment.
I was a principal investigator for a study developed by a graduate student that researched dialectical behavior therapy and its effect on life satisfaction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I was in charge of collecting and analyzing the data by entering it into excel. There were a total of four modules and I also attended the DBT sessions that took place with my professor who is also a licensed clinical social worker.
Set up and take down of campus events. Maintaining high standards of customer service. Knowledge of proper dining etiquette and following those procedures. Supporting chefs with preparing meals. Bar tending at occasional events and following proper bar tending practices.
Opening and closing of the facility. Managing roughly 10 students on a daily basis but a total of 40 to 50 that were employed. Enforcing company policies and food safety standards. Preparing meals for students that attended the college as well as clean up. Training and recruiting new employees. Opening and closing of the registers. Keeping communication between student workers and salaried employees open and clear.
