My work involves delivering testing solutions for “cloud” based payroll system. Payrolls specific to client’s different operating locations can be defined according to the country specific rules and can record all employee information, their entitlements, payments, deductions etc. System is rich with a strong reporting system that can provide standard and configurable reports for single or multi pay periods. Employee Self Service portal enabled employees to access company/employee documents, Pay slips etc. I was responsible for Test Planning, Automation Planning, Test Estimation, Test Design, Automation Scripting, Test Execution and Defect Management for roadmap and BAU initiatives
I worked as Test Manager for important transformation initiatives in Nationwide. Through PeopleSoft HCM & CRM and Oracle Fusion important transformation projects were delivered. I was responsible for Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, test environment planning for UAT and SIT,Defect Management, and co-ordination with Build teams, BA and Business Users. Through HR Helpdesk Project the case management system was upgraded from Remedy to Peoplesoft CRM solution. Some of the key HR activities like Goal management, Performance Management, Talent review and succession planning were delivered using Oracle Fusion solution.
In my tenure in Cognizant I have played the role of Test Analyst, Test Lead and Test Manager in a number of projects for various leading clients across the globe. My experience includes ensuring quality aspects of delivery to clients from Insurance (Travelers, USA) and Banking domains(Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group). I was involved in verification and validation across various projects including web services, SAP HCM, Pega, SAS, Unix and Microsoft products. I performed the role of a Test Lead and Test Manager for regulatory projects that were mandated by FSA, European Union. I was also part of projects and programme that were required as part of migration, enhancement and demerger initiatives.
